Hastings Senior Health & Living, a Cassia community, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate care to residents in a part-time role. The position includes a $5,000 bonus and a schedule that covers days and alternating weekends.

The ideal candidate holds a Minnesota LPN license, has long-term care experience, and at least two years of LPN practice. You will work with a dedicated team to support seniors and maintain high care standards.

• Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
• Long Term Care work experience required.
• 2 years of LPN experience.

Responsabilités

• Develops, implements, and evaluates resident care plans.
• Administers and monitors medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Supervises TMAs and Nursing Aides.
• Maintains respectful, professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Documents care using electronic charting systems.

Position Type: Part-Time, working a varying schedule including every other weekend

Shifts Available: Days: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Part-Time)
Weekends: Every other weekend: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Wage Range: $27.89 - $36.26 per hour (based on experience)

Bonus: $5,000 Part-Time

Location: 930 West 16th Street, Hastings, MN 55033

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates resident care plans.
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric conditions.
• Supervises TMAs and Nursing Aides.
• Maintains respectful, professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Administers and monitors medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Manages medication and supply inventory according to policy.
• Documents care using electronic charting systems.
• Communicates significant changes in resident condition to appropriate parties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
• Long Term Care work experience required
• Strong data collections skills.
• 2 years of LPN experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
• Passion for providing quality nursing care to older adults.
