Job summary

Eagle Rock Post Acute is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts at Cedar Grove, NJ. You will support nursing staff, manage medications, document care and help residents with ADLs in a supportive environment.

We welcome new graduates and experienced LPNs; the team provides training, orientation and ongoing mentorship in a facility led by engaged management, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current license.
• New nurse graduates welcome and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assisting CNAs in performing ADL and routine care.
• Administering medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Submitting pharmacy orders.
• Accurately documenting and recording all information.
• Giving injections of medication as prescribed.
• Observing resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.
• Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight.
• Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.
• Managing IVs, starting IV drips.
• Monitoring fluid/food intake and output.
• Observing and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin breakdowns.
• Assisting as directed in the admissions process.
