Job summary

MB Healthcare is seeking an LPN for morning and day shifts at Carnegie Post Acute Skilled Nursing at Princeton. Location is Princeton, NJ, with 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts. We offer generous PTO, holiday pay, medical/dental/vision, tuition assistance, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• New grads welcome; experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist CNAs with ADL and routine care.
• Perform resident/patient treatments.
• Administer medications per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Submit pharmacy orders.
• Document and record information accurately.
• Give injections as prescribed.
• Observe resident health and communicate conditions to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.
• Take vital signs (BP, temperature, weight).
• Provide basic wound care and dressing.
• Manage IVs and start IV drips.
• Monitor fluid/food intake and output.
• Observe and report accidents and skin breakdowns.
• Assist in admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting CNAs in performing ADL and routine care.
• Conducting resident/patient treatments.
• Administering medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Submitting pharmacy orders.
• Accurately documenting and recording all information.
• Giving injections of medication as prescribed.
• Observing resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.
• Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight.
• Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.
• Managing IVs, starting IV drips.
• Monitoring fluid/food intake and output.
• Observing and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin breakdowns.
• Assisting as directed in the admissions process.
