• Current, unrestricted LVN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives, goals, and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Assesses staffing needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinate staff.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes and coordinates tasks and time.
• Oversees activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluates staff performance and enforces discipline and training.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
