Qualifications

Current, unrestricted LVN license in the state of practice.
Previous skilled nursing experience.
Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Maintains nursing service objectives, goals, and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
Assesses staffing needs with the Director of Nursing.
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
Implements and evaluates care plans.
Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
Directs and oversees subordinate staff.
Participates in duty assignments.
Organizes and coordinates tasks and time.
Oversees activities of subordinate staff.
Evaluates staff performance and enforces discipline and training.
Monitors infection control compliance.
Investigates and documents accidents/incidents.
