Job summary

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 3pm to 11pm shift. You will participate in and direct patient care in accordance with facility policies and physician orders, ensuring high-quality, compassionate services.

Responsibilities include administering medications, updating care plans, coordinating with the clinical team, and supporting residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices.
• Evaluates staffing patterns to meet residents' needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinate staff and duties.
• Organizes and coordinates staff tasks and time allocations.
• Oversees staff function and activities; monitors performance.
• Monitors infection control compliance and documents incidents.
