Job summary

Rockville Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our geriatric-focused team in a Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will hold a NY LPN license and be able to evaluate and treat residents with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include med administration (including IVs), vital signs, direct resident care and education for residents and families, and coordinating with physicians, NPs, and CNAs. Alternate weekends required; shift is 7AM-3PM.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New York.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• Shift availability includes weekends.

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
