Job summary

Rockville Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing facility. The candidate must hold a NY LPN license, be able to evaluate and treat independently, and perform functional activities to aid residents’ progress.

The role is within a Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care unit with duties including medication administration and patient education. Shifts are 7AM-3PM with alternating weekends required.

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license is required.
• Alternate weekends schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration, including IVs.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Provide resident care and monitor outcomes.
• Educate residents and families.
• Communicate with physicians, NPs and health professionals.
• Supervise CNAs.

Rockville Center is searching for a talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team.

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs
