Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking a full-time LPN to join our geriatric care team in a skilled nursing facility. You will evaluate and treat residents with minimal supervision, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide resident and family education.

Supervising CNAs is also part of the role. We offer a daily pay option and a competitive hourly rate up to $34.48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN currently licensed in NY.
• Geriatric patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for SNF residents and long-term care.
• Administer medications including IVs.
• Take and record vital signs.

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.

• Current License-LPN

Hours: 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm

Full time and Part time shifts avalable.

Rate: Up to $34.48 an hour
