The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens in New York is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our skilled nursing team. The position offers full-time and part-time shifts with day and evening hours, and daily pay options.

Responsibilities include medication administration, vital signs, and patient education to enhance residents' experience. Ideal candidates hold an active NY LPN license, can work independently, supervise CNAs, and collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license is required.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Ability to work independently and supervise CNAs.

Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience. Rate: Up to $34.48 an hour

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs

• Current License-LPN

Hours: 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm
