Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Rye, NH is seeking a compassionate LPN/RN to join our team for full-time night shifts (10p-6a). The role offers up to $44/hour and focuses on delivering nursing care in a warm, home-like environment.

You will supervise Resident Care Assistants and coordinate care within a supportive community that values dedication and teamwork. We seek candidates with an active LPN license, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience (preferred).
• Experience with elderly residents in paid or volunteer roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports changes in health to care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants.
• Coordinates care with providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Prevents elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state rules.
• Responds to emergencies and uses emergency response systems.

Benchmark at Rye is looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team!

Full Time Nights 10p-6a

Up to $44/HR

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
