Job summary

The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Ridgewood, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will hold a NY LPN license and be able to assess and treat residents independently with a passion for geriatric care.

Shifts available include day, evening and night. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and daily pay options, along with competitive wages and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus 1199 benefits after 90

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently.
• Experience with geriatric care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
