Rockville Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing facility team. The role focuses on geriatric care, license in NY, independent evaluation and therapeutic activities for residents.

Shifts are 7AM-3PM with every other weekend required. Salary offered up to $40/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, insurance and more.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in NY
• Alternate weekends required

• Medication administration, including IVs
• Take and record vital signs

Rockville Center is searching for a talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team.

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Description:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs
