Responsibilities:

Every nurse plays an instrumental role in enriching the lives of residents by providing compassionate, detail-oriented care. Responsibilities include administering medication, conducting assessments, and engaging in meaningful interactions to embody person-centered care.

  • Provide exceptional nursing care to ensure residents' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Administer medications, wound care, and monitor vital signs.
  • Utilize clinical knowledge to assess and monitor residents' health, especially those with acute needs.
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, document changes, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks, fostering independence and providing support.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' needs.

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in Indiana
  • Ability to conduct assessments and document resident conditions accurately
  • Passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
