  • Job Summary :
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The LPN will assist in the delivery of nursing care, administer medications, and support patients in their daily activities with kindness and respect, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and feeding, as needed.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to formulate and implement patient care plans.- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, self-care, and medication management.- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control protocols.- Participate in staff training and professional development activities.
  • Qualifications :
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be beneficial.- Previous clinical experience preferred, especially in [specific area, e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics, etc.].- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Compassionate and dedicated to providing quality patient care.- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
