Job summary

Wexford House in Kingsport, TN is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our care team. You’ll direct daily activities of CNAs, administer medications per physician orders, and participate in admissions and transfers to ensure quality resident care.

LPN Position Summary

As a LPN at Wexford House, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Direct the daily activities of the CNAs and ensure policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel.

• Participate in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as required.

• Assess resident’s conditions, prepare, and administer medications per physician orders.

• Initiate, review, and update care plans.

• Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.

• Perform other assigned duties given by clinical or administrative leadership.

• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

LPN Requirements

• Current unrestricted LPN License for the state of Tennessee

• Current CPR/BLS Certification
