Job summary

Wexford House in Kingsport, TN is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our care team on the day shift. You will provide essential resident care and support in a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal delivery and documentation, reporting changes to the nurse, and maintaining patient privacy. Tennessee CNA and CPR/BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee CNA certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services and perform duties as assigned by clinical leadership.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance to care plans.
• Assist with patient care tasks and coordinate dining services including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
• Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

CNA Position Summary
