Job summary

A healthcare facility in Greeneville, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift role. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license in Tennessee.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to direct nursing activities and assess resident conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of CNAs and ensure compliance with policies.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Administer medications as per physician orders.
• Update care plans and report changes in resident conditions.
• Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.
• Perform other assigned duties given by clinical or administrative leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

LPN Position Summary

As a LPN at Laughlin Healthcare, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Direct the daily activities of the CNAs and ensure policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel.
• Participate in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as required.
• Assess resident’s conditions, prepare, and administer medications per physician orders.
• Initiate, review, and update care plans.
• Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.
• Perform other assigned duties given by clinical or administrative leadership.
