This position offers a pay range provided by Kadima Healthcare. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience — discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $38.00/hr, including shift differentials of $2.25/hr on daylight weekends and afternoons and nights at $2.60/hr. PRN rate is $33.00/hr, full-time waiving benefits at $38.00/hr, with a shift differential of $.50 for afternoons and nights.

Position Overview

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides care and treatment according to physician orders, working in a team environment within the scope of practice defined by the state. The LPN works under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses (RNs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess patients through physical examinations and diagnostic testing to determine health status.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Participate in the care planning process.
• Supervise LPNs and certified nursing assistants.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in residents' conditions and diagnostic test results.
• Document assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and policies.
• Educate patients and families on health-related issues.
• Complete required documentation according to company policies and regulations.

Entry Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid state licensure as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
