Argan Home Care in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN/Part-Time basis. This role delivers high-quality, personalized home health care, making a meaningful difference in patients' lives in the comfort of their homes.

The position offers flexibility without sacrificing purpose, with responsibilities that include direct patient care, medication administration, wound care, and collaboration with the care team.

Competenze

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in Florida.
• Home health or clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing procedures and wound care.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable on hire.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with professionalism.

Mansioni

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team regarding patient conditions and changes
• Educate patients and caregivers on health management, medications, and safety
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida
• Previous home health or clinical nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing procedures, medication administration, and wound care
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a strong sense of professionalism
