Argan Home Care in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN/Part-Time basis. You will deliver high-quality, personalized home health care to patients in their homes, following physician-directed care plans and ensuring comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in Florida.
• Home health or clinical nursing experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in home settings per physician plans.
• Monitor health status, vital signs, and progress notes; document accordingly.
• Administer meds, wound care, and skilled nursing treatments.
• Communicate with patients, families, and care team about conditions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on health management, medications, and safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per state and agency standards.
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and others to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida
• Previous home health or clinical nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing procedures, medication administration, and wound care
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a strong sense of professionalism
