Job summary

Overland Park Post Acute in Olathe, KS is seeking an LPN/LVN Nursing Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the Director of Nursing. This role directs nursing assistants, manages charts, and coordinates patient care plans.

Candidates must hold a nursing degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program, maintain an active license, and have CPR.

Qualifications

Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
Current CPR certification.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with staff.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants per regulations and facility policies.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines across the nursing service.
Participate in quality assurance activities and facility surveys as required.
Develop staffing plans and assign work to meet resident needs.
Oversee charting, medication administration, and care plans to ensure accurate documentation and resident safety.
