Job summary

PACS is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain quality care.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, English proficiency, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff, document care, and coordinate with physicians and the Business Office as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and discharge plans.
• Chart and document resident care accurately and timely.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians and verify resident identity.
