Job summary

Regency Monroe is seeking a licensed practical nurse to support resident care with duties including medication administration, nursing services, and staff training. You will work under the director of nursing to maintain a compassionate, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current LPN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with ADLs, medications, treatments, and other care per state regulations.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident plans of care.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine necessary medical measures per LPN scope.
