Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our long-term care team. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will provide efficient nursing care and support positive clinical outcomes for residents.

You will evaluate patients, assist with assessments and care planning, administer medications as ordered, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure high-quality care and safety. A current LPN license and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Under RN direction, deliver nursing care and achieve positive outcomes.
• Evaluate patients/residents and report changes.
• Administer medications per physician orders and supervise care by unlicensed staff.
