Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Practical Nurse License (Georgia) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Complete a Customer Service Assessment.
• Preferred: minimum six months of health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for office visits, including vitals and record documentation.
• Complete POE and address care gaps during encounters.
• Prepare room/equipment and assist practitioners.
• Initiate interventions and document responses per guidelines.
• Participate in emergency care as directed.
• Educate patients and provide prep materials for diagnostics.
• Schedule labs, radiology, or specialty appointments.
• Monitor messages and coordinate with care requests.
• Engage in departmental/regional quality improvement activities.
• Engage patients, families, and caregivers in coordination of care.
• Resolve patient concerns promptly.
• Provide departmental orientation and training of new team members.
• Participate in supervision of unlicensed personnel when delivering care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
