Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring an LPN to provide in-home pediatric nursing care in New Hampton, Iowa. The role offers weekend shifts and hourly pay of $34/hour.

The nurse will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delivering skilled services per prescribed orders and monitoring patient status across home visits.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
