Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Burlington, Iowa is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric care. The role offers hourly pay and multiple shifts across Thursdays, Fridays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, delivering prescribed care, and documenting patient information. Current TB test, BLS card, and licensure are required; prior nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and documents nursing diagnoses.

Available shifts

• Thursday and Fridays (7:45a-5p)
• Monday and Tuesdays (7:30a-4:30p)
