Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington, IA to provide in-home pediatric nursing care for young patients. This is a full-time overnight role with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delivering skilled services in home settings, and documenting findings. Qualifications require an active LPN/LVN license, TB test or CXR, BLS, and preferred 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
