Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring an LPN to provide in-home pediatric nursing in New Hampton, Iowa. You will perform assessments, implement prescribed orders, and monitor patients in their home environments.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process, documenting findings, and ensuring high-quality care. Applicants should be licensed LPN/LVN in Iowa, with current BLS and TB/Chest X-ray, plus prior nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
