Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. Day and night shifts are available.

The role involves applying the nursing process, providing skilled nursing care per orders, and assessing patient changes while documenting findings for the care team.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses from health care team.
