Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. Shifts include day and night options, offering flexible scheduling and meaningful, patient-centered care in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray must be current.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education

LPN/LVN license in practicing state

TB test or Chest X-Ray current

Current BLS card

One year nursing experience preferred
