Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Washington, DC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and adult patients in their own homes.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, current BLS, and TB/Chest X-ray as applicable, with one year of nursing experience preferred. Maxim offers comprehensive benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HSA and Life Insurance, a 401(k) plan and PTO.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses from health care team.

Responsibilities:
