Job summary
BrightStar Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for home health in the Boston area. This part-time role supports clients in their homes, delivering compassionate care with a focus on safety and quality.
You will work with a supportive team and patients across Concord, Lexington, and Woburn franchises. The position requires an active MA LPN license, at least 1 year in home health, and BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Active and valid LPN license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 year of home health or related healthcare setting experience.
- Current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and overall health status.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Educate patients and families on managing health conditions and care plans.
- Coordinate with RNs, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EHR systems.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Follow all safety and health regulations in home care settings.
