Job summary

Centurion Health in GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide holistic nursing care for incarcerated patients within the scope of practice, under supervision of RN and medical staff. Duties include addressing physical and behavioral health needs in a secure setting.

The role requires 2 years of behavioral health/correctional experience, an active LPN license in GA or Compact, and CPR/BLS certification. Security clearance, drug screen, and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in behavioral health, correctional, or ER settings.
• LPN license – Compact (MSL) or Georgia (SL) – active and valid.
• CPR or BLS certification – active and valid.
• Ability to obtain security clearance through the GADOC, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care.
• Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately.
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
