Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus as an LPN in Hepatology, supporting a diverse patient population and collaborating with a dedicated team. You will assist in delivering top-quality care, document patient data, and participate in ongoing nursing education within the Cleveland Clinic system.

As an LPN, you will implement care plans, administer medications, perform routine labs, and educate patients and families, with a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4:00pm) and no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program
• Current Ohio LPN licensure
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• If in ED, ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire in ED settings

As an LPN on the team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. A caregiver in this position works Mon-Fri, 7:30am—4:00pm. No weekends/holidays.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program

• Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

• If in ED, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross within one year of hire in ED settings

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of patient care experience

• Previous experienced as an LPN in Radiology

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination.

• Involves extensive standing and walking.

• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
