Job summary

Edgewood Manor of Wellston in Wellston, Ohio seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our family-oriented skilled nursing team. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and support care plans for residents.

We welcome new graduates and 0+ years of experience. Ohio LPN licensure and BLS (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) are required in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Ohio.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administration of medications, wound care, and vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services.
