Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a current LPN (licensed practical nurse) license in the State of Ohio, CPR certification, and have at least six months of geriatric nursing experience. Candidates must also have the passion and the ability to provide superior quality of care, with an emphasis on customer service in all that they do, and must be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Provide direct care to residents and administers medications.
Administer treatments including, but not limited to, dressings, catheritization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
Coordinate, supervise and evaluate resident care and assists in direct resident care, as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and cares rendered.
Keep physician and family aware of change in resident’s condition.
Assist in admission and discharge procedures.
Respond to resident emergency call system, as indicated.
