Job summary

PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) seeks an LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting and to supervise the nursing assistants ensuring high-quality care aligned with regulatory standards. The role reflects the resident-first philosophy and a home-like environment for residents.

Ideal candidates will have an LPN license, nursing knowledge, and a commitment to geriatric care; IV certification is a plus and prior LTC experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• IV Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with standards.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants to ensure quality care.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local guidelines and regulations.
