Job summary

Bethany Gardens in our community is actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our nursing team in New York. The LPN will provide direct patient care and support to residents in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings, upholding safety, privacy, and dignity.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid NYS LPN license, be available on weekends and holidays, and have experience in geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid LPN license in NYS.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Availability on weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Set up a safe environment for patients.
• Administer medications and injections to residents as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores as needed.
• Provide nursing care and supervise CNAs.
• Record observations and vital signs.
• Report changes to physicians or RN.
• Discharge planning and assist with transportation as needed.
