Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in DeLand, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 1:1 patient care with pediatric and/or adult patients. Ventilator experience is preferred but training is provided in-house.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.

Hourly Pay:$28-$30 / per hour

Ventilator experienced preferred but not required as Maxim offers an in house training program. Variety of shifts available including: 8-12 hour shifts for nights and weekends; some shifts are subject to an increased pay.
