Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in DeLand is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 patient care for pediatric and/or adult clients. Ventilator experience preferred but training is offered.

Shifts include 8-12 hour night and weekend options; some assignments may offer higher pay. Maxim offers competitive pay, benefits, and in-house training.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certificate.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Hourly Pay: $28-$30 / per hour
