Job summary

Maxim Healthcare, Inc. is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work with pediatric and adult patients in their homes across East Tennessee. No homecare experience required, with paid training available through Johns Hopkins partnership.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• CPR (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Document nursing data and ensure accurate charting of diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• CPR (BLS) certification. If you do not have this requirement, we can get you scheduled with us!
