Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, MN delivers professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings under supervision of an RN or physician. You will administer medications, monitor conditions, and document care outcomes to uphold health and safety.

Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly, Evening/Night shifts 4:00pm–4:30am, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with LPN licensure.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license with state board or multi-state licensure.
• 400 hours of experience as an LPN or supervised clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care settings.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Communicate with an interdisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in care planning and education for residents and families.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

IV therapy/management (ND requirement)
