Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Central State Prison in Macon, GA. The role runs on a day shift (5:30 AM–6 PM) with weekend rotation, offering competitive hourly pay and strong clinical support in a secure correctional setting.

The LPN will provide holistic nursing care under supervision, adhering to safety, infection control, and documentation standards, while collaborating with RN, medical, psychiatric, and custody staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in behavioral health, correctional, or ER.
• LPN license active and valid (GA or Compact)
• CPR or BLS certification active
• Ability to obtain security clearance via the GADOC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care.
• Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes.
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
