Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Ballantyne Family Medicine clinic in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role works Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $22.90–$36.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, lab procedures, assisting physicians, medication administration, patient education, and coordination of referrals. Requires LPN license and BLS; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• LPN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) required within 45 days unless exempt by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms patients for exams; records vital signs and health information.
• Performs lab procedures using aseptic technique and safety guidelines.
• Assists physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administers medications under orders; manages IV therapy within scope.
• Provides patient education and coordinates referrals as needed.
• Maintains exam rooms, labs, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
