Job summary

Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Float Pool. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, across multiple units, with a 3x12 hour shift pattern (7p-7a) and every-other weekend. Telemetry duties included for cardiac patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications and assist with care plans.
• Document care and educate patients/families.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Respond to emergencies and support code team.
• Telemetry duties for cardiac patients: monitor and report.
• Participate in orientation and staff training.
