Job summary

Premier Healthcare Consultants in Alabama is hiring immediately a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for all shifts. 12 hour Day and Night shifts available, with a sign-on bonus for full-time LPNs.

We provide paid training for new grads and a supportive facility environment to start your nursing career. ESSENTIAL DUTIES include patient assessment, medication administration, care planning, supervision of CNAs, and ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with policies and state/federal

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid State licensure as an LPN/LVN.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.
• Administers medications and treatments.
• Participates in the care planning process.
• Supervises CNAs and oversees ADLs and documentation.
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident's conditions and test results.
• Documents assessments and care in accordance with standards of care and company policy.
• Educates patients and families on health-related issues.
• Completes required forms in line with company policy and regulations.
