Job summary

Advocate Health's 34102 High Point Medical Center - Nursing Float Pool seeks a licensed practical nurse to provide direct patient care across units during 7pm-7am shifts. You will work three 12-hour shifts weekly and participate in four weekend shifts in a six-week cycle.

Requires completion of an accredited PN program and an NC LPN license, with BLS within six months. Responsibilities include medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state of North Carolina.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision using Nursing Process.
• Assist with data collection and documentation, monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with care plan development and implementation as directed by RN.
