Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care per policies and standards.
• Collects data and documents actions, signaling changes to the RN.
• Assists with care plans and implements as directed.
• Supports patient teaching per the plan of care.
• Documents interventions and patient responses.
• Communicates changes in orders to the RN.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, wound care, venipuncture.
• Performs patient positioning and transporting with proper technique.
• Delivers age-appropriate care per department standards.
